FORTNIGHTLY 3.5 hour visits
Lower Service

On a term basis, we will provide for each school:

  • A simple inventory and audit of your existing system hardware and software.
  • An on-site log to record problems arising and actions taken.
  • A technician visit of 3.5 hours, once per fortnight during term time. Additional chargeable visits can be arranged during holidays if required.
  • Telephone support 08.30 – 17.00, Monday to Friday.
  • One additional call-out per month, within 24 hours of call, to sort out urgent problems. E-mail support – response within 24hrs

The technician’s work will be directed towards the following:

  • Maintaining smooth running of curriculum computer workstations, printers, file servers and Internet connections.
  • Installation and configuration of new hardware, software and users.
  • Emergency call out covers travel time and up to 3.5 hour technician time. If further time is required to resolve problems then we will discuss possible arrangements e.g use some of the pre-arranged visit time.
  • Additional time can be added at the following reduced rates:-
  • £35 per hour or £200 per day.

The support provided will exclude.

  • Any repairs which cannot be carried out on site – generally, those which involve opening up any mains-operated PC, printer or other device for more than a quick inspection.
  • We also exclude repairs by us to any equipment subject to guarantee by any third party. We will however make arrangements on your behalf to have such equipment repaired. No components or consumables will be supplied as part of this contract. In the event of any out-of-warranty ICT hardware failing, the technician will be able to take the equipment away and quote for its repair.

The cost for this service is £1165 per term or £3495 per year, payable in advance. Service levels and prices are reviewed annually.
